This Shipping Policy explains how and when your order will be processed and delivered by Gardening on Country.
We’re a proudly rural business based in Bairnsdale, Victoria, and we ship all orders using Australia Post.
Delivery time frames may vary slightly due to our regional location and national postal schedules.
2. Shipping Locations
We currently deliver to addresses within Australia only.
International shipping is not available at this time.
3. Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
During busy periods (for example, sales or public holidays), please allow an extra day or two for processing.
4. Shipping Rates & Free Shipping
We offer simple, transparent shipping options:

Free Shipping: for orders over $80.00 AUD (after discounts, before shipping)
Shipping is automatically calculated at checkout. If there’s an error in calculation, we’ll contact you before dispatch to confirm any adjustments.
5. Delivery Time Frames
We use Australia Post Standard and Express Parcel Services.

6. Authority to Leave (ATL)
If you select “Authority to Leave” at checkout, Australia Post may leave your parcel in a safe location if you’re not home.
Once left under ATL instructions, the parcel is considered delivered, and Gardening on Country cannot be held liable for loss or theft.
If you do not grant ATL, your parcel will be held at your local post office for collection.
7. Delays and Lost Parcels
While we aim to ensure timely delivery, Gardening on Country is not responsible for delays once your parcel is with Australia Post.
If your parcel hasn’t arrived within the expected time frame:

If there’s no movement for 10 business days, contact us at hello@gardeningoncountry.com.
If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we’ll help you lodge a claim with Australia Post.
Our liability is limited to the compensation recoverable from Australia Post unless required otherwise by law.
8. Delivery Address Accuracy
Please double-check your address before completing your order.
We’re not responsible for delays or costs due to incorrect or incomplete details.
If an order is returned to us for this reason, we may charge an additional shipping fee to resend it.

You’ll receive an email with your Australia Post tracking number once your order has shipped.

We ship all orders via Australia Post from our rural base in Bairnsdale, Victoria.

Orders under $80 incur a flat-rate delivery fee of $12 AUD anywhere in Australia.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers?
Yes — Australia Post delivers to both PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers, so you can choose whichever is most convenient.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely. Once your order has shipped, we’ll email you an Australia Post tracking number so you can follow your parcel’s journey.

Do you ship internationally?
Not at the moment. We currently ship within Australia only, but we hope to expand in the future.
What if my parcel is delayed or lost?

We’ll work with Australia Post to investigate and help resolve the issue.
If your parcel is confirmed lost or damaged, we’ll assist you with a claim or replacement under the Australia Post compensation policy and Australian Consumer Law.
Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, email us as soon as possible at hello@gardeningoncountry.com.
Once dispatched, we’re unable to change the delivery address.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! If you’re near Bairnsdale VIC, contact us before ordering to arrange a local pickup option.
