Gardening on Country Featured in Australian Made Week 2026 - Gardening on Country

At Gardening on Country, we’ve always believed that Australian-made products tell a bigger story — one of innovation, resilience, creativity, and connection to community and Country.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud to share that our recycled gardening tools were selected to feature in the official Australian Made Week 2026 campaign installation — the iconic “golden throne”.

From Bottle Caps to a National Campaign

Founded on Gunaikurnai Country, Bairnsdale VIC, Gardening on Country was built around a simple idea — turning waste into something practical, durable, and meaningful.

What started in a shed experimenting with recycled plastic has grown into an Australian-made manufacturing business creating colourful, durable gardening and outdoor tools from 100% recycled plastic bottle caps.

Today, our tools help divert over 1.3 million bottle caps from landfill while supporting a more circular and sustainable future.

To now see our products included in a national Australian Made Week campaign alongside other incredible Australian-made products is something we’re extremely proud of.

Celebrating Australian Makers

Australian Made Week celebrates the makers, manufacturers, growers, creators, and innovators behind products proudly carrying the green and gold kangaroo logo.

It’s a reminder of the importance of supporting local manufacturing, regional jobs, Australian innovation, and businesses committed to making products right here in Australia.
